About Me
Though born in Stockton-Upon-Tees I grew up in Oxford. My father works as a Network Security Consultant and my mother worked for the Diocese of Oxford before leaving to become a freelance author and life-coach. Upon completing my A-Levels I left Oxford to study for a degree in Computer Science at Durham University. I have since been living in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne whilst working in County Durham.
I developed an interest in computers at an early age and grew up playing a lot of computer games. This led to an interest in online communities for gaming, then to web design and eventually programming. Despite a horrible ICT GCSE course I still did Computing at A Level and this encouraged me to study it at university where I gained a 2:1 for my efforts. I continue to enjoy building websites and programming, although less so since becoming employed as a programmer!
